We're in the top 1% of roofers and we have the paperwork to prove it

Earning the Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor status means meeting some of the highest standards in the industry for workmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Platinum preferred contractor

IronHead Roofing • Certified through 2028

A Platinum Preferred contractor is not something you can buy.

Owens Corning, the company that makes the shingles on nine million American roofs, certifies fewer than 1% of contractors at the Platinum level. It requires a spotless install record, third-party audits, and coverage most roofers simply can’t offer. The short version: this is who they’d hire for their own house.

1%

Of roofers in America hold Platinum status. IronHead is one of them.

50yrs

Non-prorated system warranty on material defects.

25yrs

Workmanship coverage, transferable when you sell.

We cover the Willamette Valley. All of it. The way a local roofer should.

Roofing in Oregon isn’t the same as other states. Constant rain, moss, and moisture mean your roof needs to be built for longevity. Our goal is simple: help you understand your roof cost, compare options, and move forward with confidence.

Corvallis

Our home base

IronHead Roofing is headquartered here. We know Corvallis’s microclimates, its older Craftsman stock, and what the moss season does to a roof.

Albany

Local service, no shortcuts

Albany gets the same crew, same shingles, same warranty. The Willamette Valley wind corridor means Albany roofs work hard — we size for it.

Eugene

Ready for real rain

Eugene’s rainfall is real. We price and install for Oregon’s wet season, including proper ice-and-water shield and valley flashing that actually lasts.

Surrounding Areas

Ask, we'll probably go

Salem, Lebanon, Springfield, Junction City, Sweet Home. If you’re within 40 miles of Corvallis, get a quote. We’ll tell you honestly if it’s outside our range.

Questions people ask before they buy a new roof

01 How accurate is the estimate, really?

The satellite measurements are accurate to within a couple of square feet for most homes, and our install-cost ranges come from actual IronHead jobs completed in the last six months. You’ll typically see a spread of 10–15% — that accounts for deck repair, flashings, and anything the satellite can’t see. If we need to widen the range after a physical check, we tell you before we ask for a deposit.

The range you see online is a firm estimate, not a contract. Once a project manager walks the roof (usually 20 minutes, often without you needing to be home) we convert the range to a fixed written quote. If your range said $19k–$24k and the final quote comes in above that, we honor the upper bound unless you’ve asked for something extra.

Your price range lands on screen immediately, and you get it emailed as a PDF. A real IronHead project manager — not a call center — reaches out within one business day to answer questions and schedule a walk-through if you’re interested. We won’t call five times. We won’t share your info. We won’t sell you a roof you don’t need.

We install the full Owens Corning architectural line (Duration, Duration Storm, TruDefinition) plus their luxury and designer shingles. For flat-roof sections we install TPO and modified bitumen. We’ll give you an honest recommendation for your roof’s pitch and exposure — not an upsell.

A typical 2,000–3,000 sq ft single-family roof takes one to two working days. Larger or complex roofs (multiple valleys, steep pitches, solar reinstalls) can take three to five. We don’t start a job we can’t finish on schedule, and we don’t leave a tarped roof overnight.

Our primary service area is the mid-Willamette Valley — Corvallis, Albany, Eugene, and everything in roughly a 40-mile radius. We do occasional projects in Salem, Springfield, and Lebanon. If you’re outside that range, we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right crew or can point you to one.

As a Platinum Preferred Contractor, we can register your roof under Owens Corning’s top-tier system warranty: 50 years non-prorated on material defects and a 25-year workmanship coverage, transferable if you sell the home. That’s coverage very few roofers in Oregon can offer, because very few qualify for Platinum status.

See your roof. See the price. Go back to your weekend.

Whether you’re budgeting for a full roof replacement or exploring financing options, we make it easy to take the next step.
